Partner Bios

David Cline

“Though I’ve been involved in many different business ventures, this particular business is very close to our hearts as it combines my passion for pets with my knowledge of business.”

David is a native of Kannapolis and grew up helping on his grandfather’s 50-acre farm. He’s always shared his home with dogs and currently lives in Union County with his wife, Leslie, and their many animals. David has built an impressive reputation as a successful business and civic leader with experience in international trading, regional and state economic development, new company start-ups and many other areas.

Leslie Cline

“I am very excited about having the opportunity to offer fellow horsemen and pet lovers such quality options in nutrition and service.”

Leslie is a United States Dressage Federation (USDF) Silver Medalist with many years of experience in helping students of various disciplines achieve their dressage and horsemanship goals. An active competitor, Leslie is currently campaigning her horses at the FEI Levels. In addition to a full life “at the barn,” Leslie has served the corporate world in various capacities including corporate training, sales and marketing, and human resources consulting. She and her husband, David, their horses, dogs and cats make their home at Stones Throw Farm in Waxhaw, N.C.

Alison Bailey

“My sport of endurance riding focuses on the welfare of the horse. I am thrilled that I can be a part of a business that contributes to the welfare of all animals.”

Alison is an avid endurance rider whose credits include training and conditioning her Arabian geldings for much success at the local, regional and national level. In 2009, one of Alison’s horses became the first Southeastern horse in 54 years to win the 2009 Tevis Cup in California. When not riding, Alison is a Certified Public Accountant with her own small business management consulting practice. Prior to taking on her number one role of motherhood, Alison’s corporate career included serving as a controller, chief financial officer and director of financial systems for various regional and national corporations. The Baileys share their home with several horses, dogs, cats and a bunny on their farm in Waxhaw.
